 What’s New…

Betrayed, the second book in my Raven Daughter series is finished!

Work begins on Inherited, the third book in the Raven Daughter series.

Work continues on Towers of Elandra, the 4th Dragon’s Call book.

Unveiled, Raven Daughter Book One (available in paperback and ebook)

Sometimes the actions are worth the consequences…

I was never supposed to go to the Between. I was never supposed to fall in love with Caius. And yet, I’ve done both. Since stepping through that portal, I’ve done a lot of things I never thought I would.

Like coming face-to-face with a god. Or encountering the one person in all the worlds I didn’t want to meet. Or having a fairy floor me with just a few words and realizing things are a lot more complicated than just stopping the Lost.

Everything is changing, secrets are revealed, and something that shouldn’t even be possible has become reality. I never imagined any of this could happen. My imagination was clearly lacking.

When will come? Who knows? Not me. What will be in it? Cover reveals, release dates, snippets, random stuff, maybe a recipe, a book by another author…pretty much whatever wanders into my head when my squirrel brain remembers I have a newsletter.

  1. Hey A.D.! Nice to meet you. Balancing life and writing, or rather, the writing life, is a challenge and it looks like you are rising to it. Well done. Also, thanks for stopping by The Brass Rag. Come back and see us again soon.Meanwhile, happy writing.

I am so thankful for the Gaurdians books. They are everything I want in a fantasy series(and more) and as a father of a 3(2 years old, 11 months old, and a baby due in July) I am even more excited that they can read them as young adults.
I just finished the second book and it was great. It was sad, but great. I have fallen in love w the characters and I am sure my kids will too.
The last battle scene was as painful a scene as I’ve read. Great work

    Yours truly

  4. I am 61 years old and have a constant worry that I will one day fail to wander into another author with the ability to spin a tale that makes me remember the young boy of 12 who first grabbed Tolkien from a library shelf. I am not a religious sort but I am convinced that you have been given a gift and I along with the rest of us readers are so lucky to have you.

    • Thank you so much for your kind words. I love creating worlds and the people who populate them (and the dragons of course), it’s wonderful when readers enjoy those worlds as much as I do. I hope you never stop wandering into authors that can spin tales that you love and I’m glad my story was one of those.

May the Fates favor your day!

    • It was so nice to meet you to! When you are ready to buy for your son, you can order signed paperbacks directly through me. Just email me when you are ready and I will be more than happy to send them along. 🙂

        • I’m so glad you’re enjoying them. I probably won’t do any books from Caius’s point of view, only his quotes at the end of each chapter. Part of his charm is we don’t always know what he thinking. but his actions convey a lot. That said, I may later write a few shorts that fit within the time of frame of the books, so readers can see more from him if they want. If I do (and honestly, now that I think about the idea is a bit appealing), I will create a subpage under the Raven Daughter tab and post them there for readers to grab if they want. However, before any of that can happen, I have to finish writing book 3. I’m a good way through it now and my outside work schedule has settled a bit which is making writing easier.

  7. I read your dragon called series about two years ago and just finished reading it again. Absolutely love it, one of the best dragon series I’ve ever read. I am so looking forward to the next book of the series, I have so many unanswered questions and cliffhangers. I also wondered if your prequel book would ever be available on amazon. I didn’t even realize there was one until I googled your name to find your website. I subscribe to kindle unlimited because I go through a book a week when I find a good series or author.

    • Yes, actually I will be making the prequel available by the end of this week. Sorry it took me so long to answer. My “normal” job has been taking up a lot of my time.
